It all began during a holiday trip from Veronika, Bernd and Christoph on Tenerife.
- We fell in love with Puerto de la Cruz, a small city in the norther part of the island of Tenerife. We decided to move there and opened a specialized TV shop called "KUBO Electrónico S.L.".
- We bought a finca in La Orotava (Finca Las Toscas) with 12000 square meters of land, a cow, a donkey, a dog and an astonishing view of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains.
- We completed our move to the island and started to live at the finca. We planted vegetables and fruit trees.
- In the upper part of the finca we installed several parabolic antennas of different sizes for our TV shop. This allowed us to receive and re-broadcast for the first time German television on Tenerife.
- Rainer Pock moved from Germany to Tenerife and joined our family business. Since then he works closely together with us.
- 1999 The finca gets greener as plants and trees are growing bigger and bigger. We started to build our first little houses to host family members and good friends who visited us on the island. Furthermore, we build our swimming pool and later a sauna.
- We sold our TV shop "KUBO Electrónico" in Puerto de la Cruz, removed the parabolic antennas on the finca, and transformed our finca into a beautiful and relaxing holiday place.
- We officially opened the Finca Las Toscas and offered our holiday rural houses to everybody. We started with the "Casa Studio", the "Belair" house, and two holiday flats, the "Buena Vista alta" and "Buena Vista baja", at the finca.
- The holiday houses were especially well received. Therefore, we decided to buy a large wooden house, the "Casa Madera", which was previously located in the forest close to Icod de los Vinos. We dismounted the house and mounted it again on the finca.
- We opened our biggest holiday house, the "Casa Luna".
- After running now successfully for 15 years our holiday rural houses at the Finca Las Toscas, we can proudly say that we have created a relaxing holiday place surrounded by nature, far away from mass tourism, with lots of pleased guests. Our decision to move to Tenerife in 1982 was the best!
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the Finca Las Toscas.
